How ParkUp's parking receipt text message program works

ParkUp Mobile Messaging Program
ParkUp Inc. ("ParkUp," "we," "us") operates a mobile messaging program (the "Program") that sends parking booking confirmations and receipts by SMS text message. These SMS Terms describe how the Program works, how you can join, and how you can opt out. By opting in to the Program, you agree to these SMS Terms and to our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.

How You Opt In
Participation is optional and is never a condition of purchasing parking. You provide express consent to receive text messages when, at the payment step in the ParkUp web app or mobile app (iOS and Android), you enter your mobile number and check the SMS consent box. The consent box is not pre-checked, and you must actively select it to join the Program.
At the point of opt-in, we show the following disclosure:
After you opt in, we send a one-time confirmation message so you know the Program is active:
"ParkUp: You've opted in to receive parking booking confirmations & receipts. Msg frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help, STOP to cancel."
Message Frequency & Rates
Message frequency varies and depends on how often you book parking. You will typically receive messages when you complete a booking, when a session starts, and when a session is ending.
Message and data rates may apply. These charges are billed by and payable to your mobile service provider. ParkUp does not charge you for receiving Program messages. Please contact your wireless carrier for details about your messaging plan.
ParkUp and mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery of messages is subject to effective transmission by your wireless carrier and is not guaranteed.
How to Opt Out or Get Help
Cancel (opt out)
You can cancel the Program at any time by replying STOP to any message. You may also reply OPTOUT, CANCEL, END, QUIT, UNSUBSCRIBE, REVOKE, or STOPALL. After you send one of these keywords, we send a final confirmation:
"You have successfully been unsubscribed. You will not receive any more messages from this number. Reply START to resubscribe."
You will not receive any further Program messages unless you opt in again.
Help
For help, reply HELP or INFO to any message, or email us at support@parkup.io. When you reply HELP, we respond with:
"ParkUp alerts: parking booking confirmations & receipts. Email support@parkup.io for help. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel."
Your Privacy
We use your mobile number solely to operate the Program and send you the parking messages described above. Your mobile opt-in information and phone number will not be shared or sold to any third party or affiliate for marketing or promotional purposes. This information is used only to send your ParkUp parking confirmations and receipts.

We may update these SMS Terms from time to time. Continued participation in the Program after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
